SOUND BAR: MEET THE VIBE MASTERS OF THE DORCHESTER
Vesper Bar at The Dorchester, which opened earlier this year in London, pays homage to the Vesper martini of James Bond fame. When you hear OLTRE magazine’s debut soundtrack by The Dorchester’s legendary barman Scott Garvin, in collaboration with Molto Music Group, you’ll be transported to an era of retro jazz, funk and soul. Take a listen and let me know what you think.

Northern Family Escapes

Whether you’re planning to escape the heat this summer or already looking ahead at winter retreats, I have a few ideas in mind for you and your family. Below I’m sharing details on Fairmont Chateau Whistler Resort in British Columbia, as well as where you can safely admire some of the world’s most majestic animals in Manitoba.

ELEVATE YOUR NEXT ADVENTURE AT FAIRMONT CHATEAU WHISTLER
An ideal getaway for your whole family, Fairmont Chateau Whistler Resort is a destination in itself. This resort is located at the base of Blackcomb Mountain in British Columbia — a movie-like alpine setting I know you’ll love. In the winter, you’ll create lasting memories with the Ultimate Whistler Ski Experience. More than 200 trails across two mountains are connected by the world’s longest and highest gondola of its kind. One of several on-site restaurants, Portobello is perfect for children and grandparents alike. Hot chocolate, anyone?
When you book Fairmont Chateau Whistler with me, you’ll receive complimentary breakfast, early check-in and late check-out, an upgrade at the time of check-in, a special food & beverage amenity and a welcome gift valued at 100 USD. Reach out any time for more details.
MEET THE ‘KING OF THE ARCTIC’ IN MANITOBA
You can see the world’s largest concentration of polar bears right near the edge of Canada’s Hudson Bay, the “Polar Bear Capital of the World.” I came across an article in OLTRE Magazine that shares how you can safely spot these magnificent animals with expert naturalists at a remote outpost, only accessible by charter flight. Natural Habitat Adventures inspires travellers of all ages to sustain the livelihood of these beautiful animals — a wonderful learning experience for adventure-seeking travellers of all ages.
