I can’t bring up Croatia without recommending some of its bucket-list historical cities. With proximity to an international airport, Split is popular starting point that’s best known for the mid-4th century Diocletian’s Palace and its nearby cathedral. After a private yacht transfer to Hvar’s northern coast, you can experience Stari Grad, one of the oldest towns in Europe and now a popular (and absolutely stunning) summer resort.
Also, the Old Town of Dubrovnik is a must-see; the architecture and scenery here is breathtaking. Fort Bokar was often used for filming Game of Thrones; if you’re a fan of the series, I can look into highly sought-after Game of Thrones tours.
