SINGAPORE AIRLINES' HIGHFLYER PROGRAM ADDS LOUNGEKEY PASS ACCESS
Collinson has expanded its collaboration with Singapore Airlines to offer businesses enrolled in the airline’s HighFlyer program access to LoungeKey Passes. HighFlyer, Singapore Airlines’ business travel rewards initiative, grants companies discounted airfares and the ability to earn HighFlyer points when their staff travel for work, redeemable for future travel or rewards like LoungeKey Passes.
UBER TO LAUNCH U.S. AIRPORT SHUTTLE SERVICE
Uber announced plans to introduce a United States shuttle service this summer, offering transportation to events and airports. The move aims to offer a more convenient transportation option for travelers; when the service becomes available, business travelers will see a “Shuttle” option in the Uber app. Travelers will be able to pay for and track their shuttle within 25 minutes of their departure time. Uber reports seeing “potential” in the new service being included in the Uber for Business feature
DELTA UPGRADES APP, ADDS FEATURES AND FUNCTIONALITY
Delta Airlines has enhanced its mobile app with new features aimed at improving the travel experience. The upgraded app now includes an all-new Help Center view, always-available access to boarding information and connectivity to a Virtual Assistant. This summer, travelers will also be able to utilize their Delta SkyMiles credentials from their Fly Delta App to seamlessly connect to Delta Sync Wi-Fi onboard.

The International Air Transport Association (IATA) reports progress in the airline industry’s efforts to decrease baggage mishandling incidents, with a significant reduction in mishandled bags compared to previous years. The implementation of new technology and processes, including Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) tags and improved baggage tracking systems, has played a crucial role in enhancing baggage handling efficiency and accuracy.
